Remote Mode External:

The instrument does not take any switching decision by itself. It only reports the status of and the status of the signal level for both inputs of each card. Using this information, the external Management System has to generate the desired action.

DEFAUL POSTION OF SWITCHES
There id no default position for the relays. There is no switching after power up. The switches remain in the same position as they have been before shut down.

THE LOCAL USER INTERFACE
Front:
After powering up, the instrument is in the same mode as before shut down. The yellow LED Remote is on or off.
In Remote Mode the Local User Interface is blocked. Then, the yellow LED Remote is on. The unit can be switched from Local Mode to Remote Mode and vice versa only via the Local User Interface.

The Reset Button:
The button Reset will reboot the controller. See chapter 3.7.

Shifting between Local Mode and Remote Mode :
The device toggles between Local Mode and Remote Mode by pressing and holding the Local push button until the status of the Remote LED (on or off) changes.

Shifting between Individual Mode and Simultaneous Mode:
The device toggles between Individual Mode and Simultaneous Mode by pressing the unlabeled push button between the LEDs. In Simultaneous Mode, the instrument can be switched only from channel 1, i.e. channel 2 will follow channel 1.
