Schools across the country ushered in the new school year, and a large number of children upgraded to primary school or returned to school, but what they are waiting for is not necessarily carefree campus life. The age of the parents of school-age students is generally between 25 and 50 years old. These working population are the most directly facing social problems and life pressure. 适龄学生的父辈的年龄普遍在25-50岁之间，这些劳动人口是最直接面对社会问题和生活压力的群体，他们不但要在家庭内部肩负起顶梁柱的责任，甚至要承担社会制度不健全所带来的压力：自己养老、父母养老、孩子养育、买房、医保等等。
They can't bear to wait in line all night to get their children's entrance degree, and see their children "neglect their studies" in school. They can't bear to see their children "mischievous" in school after a day's hard work. They can't bear to lose their dignity in order to survive at work, and they are complained by teachers that their children are "not competitive" in school.
他们不忍心在通宵排队争取到孩子的入学学位之后，看到孩子在学校里“荒废学业”。他们不忍心在为生计劳累奔波一天之后，看到孩子在学校里“调皮捣蛋”。他们不忍心为了生存在工作上丢失尊严之后，被老师投诉孩子在学校里“不争气”。
They can't bear to see their children "sad" after suffering all these hardships, and continue to suffer the misfortune that their parents have experienced in the future.
他们更不忍心在自己遭受到这一切艰辛之后，看到孩子“老大徒伤悲”，在未来继续遭受父辈经历过的不幸。

Nowadays Chinese students, who are facing firece competance, are under great stress.
First, they always have endless homework to do. it is quite common to see a primary student work til 12 o'clock to finish the work.
Second, students' spare time is occupied by various training classes. Many parents wish their children to be versatile, so they send them to learn drawing, dancing, singging, playing the piano, and so on, which bring a lot of burden to the students.
Third, students have to face the ranking. Ranking system is applied nearly by every Chinese school, which is a way for the teachers to measure the learning quality of students. However, the ranking system makes students nervous, and in order to get a better result, they have to work harder and harder. If the result is unsatisfied, the students probably wil be abused by parents.
All in all, nowadays students are under great stress, which casts shadow on their childhood and even adolescence. Therefore, as far as I am concerned, we should give students more spare time, to enjoy life, to have closer touch to the nature, and to spend more time to play and communicate with their peers and parents.
