1.这个they指代是上句里的“business accounts”，楼主没看清楚
2. earlier offers就是句子里调解员所提供的assistance，所以我认为应该填as。“to provide”肯定是错的！
3.改成shows也行，不过一般都用has shown
4.选项B,为什么楼主觉得要用完成时态呢？？这是完全没必要的，严格来说是错的

我也考过一次SAT了，哈，“earlier offers就是句子里调解员所提供的assistance，所以我认为应该填as” 可是offers是复数，而assistance是单数，结构上不平行？？？

反正原句是错的啊，那就是我看得不小心了= =变成assistances应该就行了吧
