other常作定语,是形容词,要加名词,如:I was at the classroom while other students were playing football on the playground.
the other与one搭配,用于两者中另一个.如:there are two books on the table. One is new ,the other is old.
others 不需要再加名词.,本身是代词.代指所有其他的东西.是复数形式.如:three of them are Chinese ,others are Japanese.
another用于三个或三个以上的另一个,也是单数形式,如: Three teams won in yesterday's matches.One was yellow team,one was blue team,another was red team.
