在我小时候，我曾对黑暗极度恐惧。我总觉得在黑暗中暗藏着不知名的鬼怪，它会伸出它那邪恶之手把我抓去。所以我总是避免和黑暗有交集。但是有一天，我一个人在楼下看电影看晚了，爸爸妈妈都上楼睡觉去了，等我反应过来我才发现楼下只剩我一个人。楼梯的灯又坏了。我很害怕，很无助，我不敢踏上楼梯，以前看过的恐怖电影的场景又浮现了出来，我感到整个人都在颤抖。可是我又必须要上楼。我的内心在不断的挣扎。终于，我心一横，闭着眼睛踏上了楼梯的第一个台阶，然后飞一般的跑上了楼梯。时间就像是静止了，而楼梯显得那么长，那么长，好像永远没有尽头。终于，当我踏上最后一阶台阶，然后飞似的跑到自己房间，躺在床上的时候，我感到整个人都像是被人抽去了灵魂。
在这件事之后，我再也不害怕黑暗了，再也不怕一个人在晚上看电影，再也不怕走夜路了。我明白了：其实你害怕的只是害怕本身。

when i was young,i was so scared of darkness.I had always felt that there hid some unknown goasts haunting in the darkness,reaching out their wicked hands for me.So i tried to get rid of the darkness.But one day,when i finished watching tv late than usual,and found i was the only one left downstairs while my parents were in sleep.The doorway light broke and i was too scared and helpless to go upstairs,the movie scene floated in my mind as i seemed to be shaking,but it has to be done.My heart struggled but in the end i got on to the first step,as if i was flying over the flight of stairs.It had been an age and time was stagnant,the stairs seemed endless.At last, i managed to hit my bed,ending up halfdead.

When I was young, I was in deep horror with darkness.I always envisaged unknown ghost in darkness which would catch me by his evil hands. So I took every chance to be away with darkness. But one day when I stayed up late watching film downstaris,I did not find myself alone until I knew my parents were asleep upstairs. Stair lamps striked and I was just too scared and lonely to go to sleep upstairs. Screens of horror films went back to my mind,I felt trembling all myself.But I had to go upstairs. I made up my mind after storms of hesitation. I stampedd on the first step and then fleeted upstairs. Time standstill while stairs endless.Finally I standed on the bottom of the stairs and then I rushed into my room . I found myself sourless on bed.
But after that I would bravely embrace darkness and no longer submitted to one man film and dark walking.It came to me that nothing horrify you except your own horror.
