非谓语动词有5种情况，分别是动词做主语、动词作宾语、动词作定语、动词作状语、动词作补语，通常在句子中表示：

1、没有士兵在操练。

There are no soldiers drilling.  

2、学走路的孩子常跌脚

A child learning towalk often falls.  

3、在这里干活的人都来自农村。

The men working hereare all from the countryside.

4、那天向我们讲话的那个人到日本去了。

The man speaking tous has gone to Japan.

5、有许多学生在车站等着欢迎外籍教师。

There are a lot ofstudents waiting to welcome the foreign teachers.

6、他妹妹在大学里学习，她是个党员。

His sister, studyingat college, is a Party member.

7、这些实习生制造的机器运转良好。
