音乐剧《猫》由《回忆》家喻户晓。剧中最著名的唱段《回忆》（Memory），就是由“魅力猫”唱的。
“魅力猫”格里泽贝拉是全剧最重要的角色。她年轻时是猫族中最美丽的母猫，可是后来她厌倦了猫群的生活，离开了猫族去看外面的世界。
然而，外面的世界显然并没有令“魅力猫”更快乐，当她再次回到猫族的时候，“魅力猫”已经变成了一只蓬头垢面，苍老丑陋的老猫了。她身上的灰土掩盖了她的本来毛色，从她的头发和脸庞来看，本来皮色大概是灰色与黑色相间。
与其他猫相比，她的样子最像人类：长发披肩，身上穿着黑色晚礼服短裙和灰色皮衣，脚上甚至穿了一双高跟鞋。猫儿们不愿接受这个背叛猫族的流浪者，整个猫族对她非常敌视。她以一曲《回忆》平息了所有猫儿对她的敌意，唤起了对她的深深同情和怜悯。
