There was a girl named Beth. Beth had a little brother named Matt. She was very nice and she loved going to the mall(购物商场). Every Friday, she went to the mall with her friends. One Friday her mom had a call. The call was about work. Her mom said that she had to go for a special dinner that night and that Beth had to baby-sit Matt. Beth was really mad because she couldn’t go to the mall as she always did. The night came. Her parents left and Beth had to baby-sit Matt. Beth had an idea： She left Matt home and went to the mall.

When Beth left, her brother started crying. He was only 5 years old and he was scared(恐惧的 ). Then Beth’s mom came home and found that Beth was out. Her mom got angry and went to the mall to pick her up. Then Beth Got into big trouble ! She got grounded(被禁足) for two months! Finally she decided that she wouldn’t ever do that again, because missing one night is better than missing two months of Fridays at the mall.
