Hence, they attract widespread attention from the international community, as well as high attention from governments at home and abroad. A variety of policies and measures are adopted, to lead and support the development of SMEs. According to relevant statistics, the amount of these enterprises in China has accounted for 99.3% of the total enterprises in China, while they have created 55.6% of GDP, 74.7% of industrial value, 58.9% of social sales, 46.2% of tax revenue and 62.3% of export volume. Stepping into 21st century, SMEs are the foundation of the economy of a nation, the most active element in the social economy, and the most important factor of deposit development and social prosperity and stability. Meanwhile, in such an age with rapid development in internet economy, the evolution of e-commerce also provides a great opportunity and platform for the competition between large-scale enterprises and SMEs. For the application of e-commerce, the choice of e-commerce mode turns out to be a core. Enterprises should choose the e-commerce mode which is suitable to them, to maintain a rapid and healthy development. This thesis mainly introduces the basic concepts of SMEs and E-commerce, benefit of e-commerce to enterprises, current development of e-commerce and the revolution of e-commerce marketing mode.
