The Great Wall is one of the greatest wonders in the world. It's about 6,700 kilometers long and has a history of over twenty centuries.The first part of it was built during the Spring and Autumn Period. In Qin Dynasty, Emperor Qin Shi Huang had all the walls joined up.Thus, the Great Wall came into being.
Today some of the sections of the Great Wall are in ruins or even entirely disappeared. However, it is still one of the most attractive places in China. Every day thousands of people from all over the world come to visit it . Many of them have come to know the famous Chinese saying: "He who does not reach the Great Wall is not a true man."
