前半句不太明白，long and often是倒装么？

前半句缩句一下，descriptions exist。什么样的description，long并且犹如诗词般优美的（lyrical可以这样翻译），并且这些description是描述different types of ware,描述不同种类的瓷器的，这样的description还assist in classifying pots，帮助了分类罐子（pots指罐子，锅，壶什么的）。
我把that看作一个遥远的定语从句，因为是修饰description嘛。但是事实上，它在谓语后，应该是宾语从句？哈哈，我从句学的不太好，领会精神吧！
