巡警看着鸭妈妈老是这样做，感到有些蹊跷，就站了起来，跟着鸭妈妈走了过来。
鸭妈妈和巡警来到下水道前，鸭妈妈用嘴指向那几个落水的小鸭子。这位巡警终天明白了事情的前因后果，知道小鸭子随时可能被水冲走。巡警赶快跑到河边，向钓鱼的人借了一个捞网。伸下又深又窄的下水道，将一只只水淋淋的鸭子救了出来。鸭妈妈看见小鸭获救了，高兴地直扑着翅膀，还不时用嘴啄一下小鸭子的身子。它们重新站成一排，跟着鸭妈妈继续走着。

在我五、六岁的时候曾经养过两只小鸭子。它们长得非常可爱，脖子长长的，嘴巴扁扁小小的，嘴巴上还长着两颗沙粒般大小的鼻孔，肚子的下方长着一双橘红色的小脚蹼，身上的羽毛毛茸茸的是浅黄的，摸起来舒服极了，柔软柔软的。
小鸭子吃饭的时候可好笑了，因为小鸭子的脖子长，所以因把嘴巴里的食物吞到肚子里去，必须得要先埋头嚼两三口食物，然后再高高的仰起头将食物咬碎，接着，再慢慢的把嘴巴里的东西咽到胃里，小鸭子吃饱的时候，肚子比原来大多了，圆溜溜的，就像是它的肚子里装了一个大的汤圆似的，有时肚子饱“歪”到了一边，走起路来还不平衡呢！
小鸭子吃饱了就要去游泳，小鸭子天生就会游泳，你可别看它个子小，可它一游起泳来速度可快了，“哗啦！哗啦！”的几下子它就能够在我的大水缸里转了十圈了，小鸭子很喜欢玩水，它在玩水的时候，经常爱把头埋进水里上下左右地看，它身上的羽毛是从来都不会粘水的，那是因为鸭子身上的羽毛有油，所以只要有水沾在它身上就会很快的滑下来。
这就是我的小鸭子，一对美丽、活泼、可爱的小鸭子
