My Stupid Wonderful Roommate
I saw her in the dormitory when I first came to the college.Honestly, at the first sight of her, I felt quite disappointed. I could not imagine that I would spend 4 years with such a dull roommate. She was short and thin, with a round oily face and a pair of deep-set eyes in which there was nothing but sorrow. Besides, she worn a pigtail but her hair was messy and greasy. What surprised me most was that she was dressed in a thick coat in such a hot summer. I worked up the courage to step in the dorm. She was still sitting there without say "Hello!” to me as if she had not noticed me.” How strange and impolite she is!” I thought. I could not bear the embarrassing atmosphere, so I went out to buy articles for daily use as soon as i laid down my things.
To my astonishment, when I came back in the evening, the dirty and untidy room became neat and clean. All her clothes was washed and hung on the string. I came to realize that she was not as lousy as I thought. At least, she was very diligent. Therefore, I took the initiative to talk with her. During the conversation I found that she was an innocent and lovely girl. I began to like her. Afterwards, we often stick together. Nearly everyday I can find some of her advantages. When she is studying, she is very quite; when we debate something, she is rather talkative; besides, she is very honest and frank. If she indeed does something wrong, she will admit her mistake and correct it. If I do something improper, she will point it out directly. Most importantly, she is so kind and she is always ready to help others. Every time she meets beggars in the street ,she will give them some money; If I come back late, she will get hot water for me; If I feel sick, she will buy some medicine and food for me, etc.
I cannot list all her merits one by one. In short, she is the best roommate I have ever had. Now we have become best friends, even though we have little in common either in personality or in hobby. I am like the summer. She is like the autumn. However, we can change the winter into spring. It is because of her that I believe friends can be more reliable than lovers.
I feel lucky to meet her. Thanks god for sending the stupid wonderful girl to me! 展开
