乔治·奥威尔的《动物农场》
　　It has been 62 years since the pigs-led Animal Farm evolved into a republic called the Animals’ Republic of Farm, ARP for short, which has developed into a titan militarily, economically, and geographically, through a series of wars against imperialism and fascism and even a civil war.
　　
　　It claims to sprawl across a total area of 9.6 million square kilometers with a population of 1.4 billion. Some of its territories were conquered by invading into such neighboring farms as Kibet, Dibet, and Bibet, which were turned into western provinces of ARP later.
　　
　　Apart from traditional businesses of selling eggs, timber, and superannuated animals to knackers and providing windmill-based corn-milling service, the pigs have, after they walked upright like humans, been drastically adding streams of revenues to the republic’s income.
　　
　　The pigs are making money from lands. They first pronounced that all lands were owned by the country, yes, they made the point of using the word country instead of government, and then made a killing selling lands through auctions to housing developers, who have cornered the real estate development market after a housing system reform in 1993. The reform enabled the central government to make a departure from usual practice of welfare-oriented public housing distribution system to “housing marketization”.
　　
　　The combination of the monopoly of lands by the government and housing development by the developers has made the housing prices in ARP sky-high, even higher than they are in the US, the biggest farm in the world.
　　
　　The pigs are making money from taxes. The pigs are making money from arbitrary, irregular administrative fees and fines. The pigs are making money from highway tolls. They are making money from medical and educational reforms. They are just making money from everything. Anyway, they are really excel at gaining profits, making ARP more a corporation than a government.
　　
　　Pigs control the army, the senate, the legislature, and the law enforcement agencies. They make the law, explain the law, and enforce the law. Yes, sure, they break the law, but they can always get away with it.
　　
　　There is a contradiction between what pigs have said and done. They say the country is well off, rising as a new, harmonious, invincible power in the east, but they at pains save their money in banks overseas and send their wives and children to developed countries in case of another rebellion or revolution.
