I would like to declare at first, some personnel names and place names maybe were spelled wrong, because I transliterated them from Chinese. Let’s begin with a classical fable which expatiates on happiness and compares to life.寓言：天使的百合 波斯国王哈里发厌倦了王权所赋予他的一切奢华与享受，于是向天堂的管理者祈祷能让他成为一名不为人知的普通市民，找回做个简单之人的快乐和舒适。就在当晚，在波扎的一个贫穷的村落，一个乞丐也向天堂的管理者祈求得到哈里发的舒适和享受。于是天堂的管理者唤来两位美丽的天使，在巴格达哈里发的宫殿和波扎乞丐的茅舍中间种下了一株来自天堂的百合，并召唤他们在天使种下的百合处相遇。就在“天使的百合”处，这两个人相遇了，他们找到了各自的幸福，不再为原先的欲望而苦恼，过上了一种宁静、安定和纯美的生活。 Fable: Angels’ lily Harappa, the king of Persia, was sick of all his luxury and enjoyment which the kingship endowed him, and prayed to God to become an unknown ordinary citizen in order to get back to pleasure and comfort. At the right night, in a poor village of Boca, a beggar prayed to God to get comfort and enjoyment which Harappa had. The God called two beautiful angels to plant a lily that come from heaven between Harappa’s palace in Baghdad and the beggar’s hut in Boca, and let Harappa meet the beggar at the lily. Wealth and the feeling of happinessWestern developed countries started to research the feeling of happiness very early, the symbol of happiness feeling research in modern sense is “relational factors of self-styled happiness” which was written by Wanner Wilson in 1967. Chinese didn’t integrate GDP with “happiness exponent” until 2006, the subjective happiness feeling are emphasized and are brought into the check system of society development. The word of “degree of happiness” appears in some government reports.The research shows it is not always the case that more wealth more happiness. As a whole, GDP is positive interrelated with the feeling of happiness, more wealth more happiness. But when per capita GDP is over 8000US$, the correlation between happiness feeling and economy is not so obvious. According to Seligman, a famous psychologist, only when there is a lack of wealth, it has superior effect to happiness, the correlation between wealth and happiness becomes much lesser when wealth reaches some level. The doctor was affected and chatted with the fisherman.He showed his concerned at how the fisherman’s daily life was. The fisherman told him, his life was so simple that he only was required to catch enough fishes for his whole families every day and brought home to his wife, and he spent the rest of time with his families, or drank and played cards with his friends.The doctor thought this kind of life was not only boring but also hard, he decided to help the fisherman with the economic knowledge he learnt and made him stood out with more wonderful and abundant life. It warns those, who want to succeed in career and have a happy life, must stop at the “angel’s lily”. Whatever you want to do, you shouldn’t be overreach and beyond the limit, don’t overstep “angel’s lily”, because angels always plant the most splendid and purest lily between cupidity and waste, between self-consequence and abandonment, between sloth and overwork, between soberness and spoor, between poverty and richness, between recreance and obtrusion, between hate and adoration, between folly an madness, between giant and manikin……Napoleon said: I have less than 1 hour happy time in my whole life.It’s not difficult for us to achieve more success than Napoleon because we know “happiness is real sucess”.Let’s meet at the “angel’s lily”, and wish all our friends stop at “angel’s lily”!

How to make Success
Different people have different views on success.Some hold that making a great deal of money means success.Others argue that holding an important post in the government means success.Still others believe that having a high academic title at a famous university or a research institute means success.
In my opinion,success means brilliant achievement in our work.In other words,no matter what we do,making outstanding contributions to the development of our country and bringing help and happiness to others is success.
To achieve success,we should,first of all,have a clear long-term goal in our life.Besides,we should have short term goals in different periods of life.As we know,it is these short term goals that make our long-term goal possible.Second,we should be both perseverant and hardworking.Whatever we do,there are always two possibilities:success and failure.We should never lose heart when we come across difficulties or when we are confronted with failure.Instead,we should learn from our experience,build up our confidence and work even harder and smarter towards our purpose.Third,we should follow the examples of those who are successful and learn from them.Finally,we should try to get along well with our classmates and colleagues.We should care for each other and help each other in our study,our work and our life,because team work is of great importance in the realization of our dream.
If we can follow these principles,we will certainly achieve remarkable success in our life.
