先区分think about 和think of。think about是考虑“是否去做某事”；think of有三种意思“考虑”“认为”“想起”，在这道题目中应该是“认为”的意思。
male characteristic意思是“阳性”
2.A
candles：蜡烛，因为蜡烛不是电器，所以肯定不用turn。light作名词“灯光，电灯”，作动词“点亮，点燃”。 所以第一个空选light，不过，是没有light up这个搭配的，所以只需要点燃蜡烛，而不是点燃起蜡烛。
3.The box is too heavy to all of us to carry.
4.这道题多了个空吧？？应该是：He got up early to catch the train.

按照母语，应该说事故发生，所以很多人以为happen（发生）有被动语态，但是happen是没有被动语态的。这道题“某人发生某事”要用固定搭配：sth happen to sb. 那个happend是过去式，因为是yestoday（昨天）发生的。
6.He was just go to sleep when there was a knock at the door.
