i was和i were都对，但需注意：

英语中分为虚拟语气和真实语气，当作为一个假设复时，就回用were来拼接主语。

例如：If I were a boy，其实就是假设制我是一个男孩，但真实当中你并不是男孩。

If I were a bird.假设我是一只小鸟，但你在真实当中并不是小鸟。

另外，如果用was，就意味着你是真实性的存在问。

例如：when I was young(在/当我年轻的时候）当你过去年轻的时候。这时候就是用was了。

例句：

1、I was trying to apologize but it came out wrong. 

我是想要道歉，可是话一出口却变了味儿。

2、This proves I was right. 

这证明我是对的。

3、I was just thinking what a long way it is. 

我刚才在琢磨路途太远了。

4、I was living with my parents at that time. 

那时候我和父母住在一起。
