这里asking … well是现在分词短语作定语修饰
letter，其中asking＝that asks.
需要指出的是，分词短语作定语时，
①如果被修饰的词执行分词所表示的动作，要用现在分词。例如The man standing there is my maths teacher.（现在那儿的那个男人是我的数学老师），这里是the man执行stand这个动作，所以用现在分词。
②如果被修饰的词承受分词表示的动作，要用过去分词。例如：The woman taken away by the policeman is a theft.（被警察带走的那个女人是个小偷），这里the woman承受take away这个动作（被带走），所以用了过去分词。

Here are a few suggestion(suggestions) . First,it is important to take a Chinese course,as(so) you'll be able to learn from the teacher or practice with your fellow students.Then,it also helps to look(watch) TV and read books,newspapers and magazines in Chinese whenever it (加is) possible.
Besides,it should be the(a) good idea to learn and sing Chinese songs,because by doing so you would(will) learn and remember Chinese words more(去掉）easier.You can also make more Chinese friends.Then(They) will tell you a lot of about China and help you learn Chinese
