【英式英文单字】十大「英式英文」常用单字！
从小就学习美式英文、欣赏好莱坞电影的我们，其实对于「英式英文」当中较常出现的英文单字非常陌生。
Learn British English Free的讲师Chris提出了十个在「英式英文」中常见，但在美式英文中很少出现的单字，让读者们能更深入了解英式英文！
1. Bloke
(n.) 小子、家伙 = man / guy e.g. I heard a bloke on the train say that tomorrow’s trains will be delayed. 我在火车上听到一个家伙说明天火车会误点。
2. Fag
(n.) 香菸 = cigarette 但「Fag」在美国其实常被用来指称「同性恋男子」，因此要小心使用！ e.g. Tom went outside for a fag. I think he *** okes too much! Tom 出去买菸。我觉得他抽太多烟了！
3. Fancy
(v.) 想要、爱慕 e.g. Do you fancy going to the cinema on Friday? 你周五想去电影院吗？ e.g. I fancy the new guy in my office. I think he’s hot! 我喜欢那个办公室里新来的男生。我觉得他很迷人！
4. Hoover
(v.) (n.) 用吸尘器打扫、吸尘器 = vacuum / vacuum cleaner e.g. I need to buy a new hoover. Mine is broken. 我需要买支新的吸尘器。我的吸尘器坏掉了。 e.g. The carpet is dirty. When was the last time you hoovered? 地毯有点脏。你上次用吸尘器打扫是什么时候？
5. Mate
(n.) 朋友 = friend e.g. We’ve been mates since we met in high school. 我们在高中认识时就是朋友了。
6. Pint
(n.) 啤酒 = beer e.g. Do you want to go for a pint after work? 你下班后想去喝杯啤酒吗？
7. Quid
(n.) 英镑 = pound e.g. Forty quid for a ticket to the game? That’s too much! 看那场比赛的票价要四十英镑？也太贵了！
8. Reckon
(v.) 猜想、觉得 e.g. I reckon it will rain tomorrow. 我觉得明天会下雨。
9. Rubbish
(n.) (v) 垃圾 = garbage 、抨击 = criticize e.g. Throw the empty coke can into the rubbish. 把空的可乐罐丢到垃圾桶里。 e.g. I don’t want to rubbish your plan, but I don’t think it will work. 我不想批评你的计划，但我觉得这不会成功。
10. Wicked
(adj.) 很棒的 = great, excellent e.g. Look at that jacket. It’s wicked! I’m going to buy it. 你看那件外套，也太好看了！我要买下它。
