要由铜制备水合硫酸铜(II)晶体,首先把铜在空气中加热,生成黑色的氧化铜(II)固体。 2Cu(s) + O2(g) → 2CuO(s) 然后,逐少把氧化铜(II)加入一定体积的稀硫酸中,并把混合物轻微加热,直至氧化铜(II) 不能溶为止。形成的溶液是硫酸铜(II)溶液。 CuO(s) + H2SO4(aq) → CuSO4(aq) + H2O(l) 把混合物过滤,除去过量的氧化铜(II)固体。把蓝色滤液(硫酸铜(II)溶液)加热,除去部份溶剂 (水),形成热的浓溶液(甚至饱和溶液)。然后把溶液缓慢地冷却,会析出水合硫酸铜(II) (CuSO4•5H2O) 的晶体。把混合物过滤,然后把残余物硫酸铜(II)晶体以少量冰冻乙醇冲洗,然后放在 80oC 的焗炉中焗干。 (当水合硫酸铜(II)的晶体在水溶液中形成时,水合过程会自然进行,无需任何特别的步骤。) ========== 铜与稀硫酸没有反应。 虽然铜与热的浓硫酸会反应,形成硫酸铜(II)溶液,但因为溶液中含有浓硫酸,难以处理,所以不会采用为制备硫酸铜(II)晶体的方法。
