Millie: Mr. Chen, you know how much to sunshine town?
Mr. Chen: I am familiar with this area. When I was two years old and the family moved here, since then I have been living here.
Millie: have you ever moved house?
Mr. Chen: yes. At first, my parents and I live in the town near sunshine river. We live together until 1965 when I got married. Then my wife and I moved into the center of the town of another set of Residence. Last year my children bought us a new Residence, we moved again.

Mr. Chen: yes. We often on the weekend. Our love in the new park together, playing cards, playing Chinese chess. Very happy.
Millie: near sunshine river once had a shoe factory. Before the water pollution is a problem?Mr. Chen: Yes, that is very serious, because the shoe factory often dump waste into the river. Waste of toxic substances in fish and plants died, polluted the river. Later, the government realized it was a very serious problem and took action to reduce the pollution. Now the water is much cleaner.
Millie: do you think that the present life is better than before?
Mr. Chen: Well, in some ways it is. Open space and beautiful garden is good. However, it made me more difficult to see some of my old friends. They moved to Beijing's other area, I sometimes feel a bit lonely. Sometimes they would come to see me, and that makes me very happy.
