请翻译经下这句话：

“中国人非常相信鬼神。他们简单地将鬼神分不好的和坏的。对于前者，他们不会加以提防，而对后者却常常提心吊胆。妖魔鬼怪潜伏在黑暗的角落里伺机伤害路人而且通常是无缘故的。作恶多端的人尤其害怕被他们冤死的鬼魂。”

Chinese people have strong superstition about ghosts and spirits, which they simply categorized into ones that are not good and ones that are evil. They would not be so much on guard for the former, but fear the latter. Ghosts and spirits hide in dark corners waiting for the opportunity of harm passerbys, often out of no reason. Villians are especially afraid of them, in particular the ghosts of those who they treated unjustly.
