我先回答第一题，两空题先看第二空，因为总体上根据重复原则，所以和stranger对应，其次看第一空，even though那句是考虑 they 和stanger 的关系，当我们把“foreignness”带入第二空之后，主句的意思就表明：Europeans 把foreignness 和danger联系起来了，言外之意就是认为foreigness 是危险地，而主句又有not 取反，所以even though是那种不友好的感觉所以选择那个答案
