Suppose you are going to teach a group of junior middle school students. Choose a textbook for them and justify your decision.

In my opinion, I will, first analyse the students carefully to know what knowledge they have owned. Based on this analysis, I can choose a textbook containing relevant knowledge in a little higer level than that of the students, thus, the students will not be discouraged, instead, they will show greater interest in learning it.
Second, I must know the students' interest as well. Therefore, I can choose the textbook containing related contents that will interest the students. Saying:"Interest is the best teacher." So long as the students show interest in learning it, they will learn it well.
Third, I would like to have some activities for the students to justfy how much they are interested in the textbook and how much they have learned. And, of course, the activities must be suitable for the students.
"There is no fixed teaching methods and what's more important, teaching the students according to their interest and existing knowledge is the best."
All above just shows my personal opinions and I hope you can regard it only as one of your references.
