The famous snacks in Beijing

Douzhir, which is fermented mung bean juice, a popular drink for the traditional Beijing people. The amazing thing is that people cannot afford its strange flavor and smell at the first. However, if they have tried it for two or three times, they will be additive about it. Actually, this drink is good for the digestion of the people. Normally, drinking Douzhir and eating few deep fried rings together would be a traditional and delicious combination. Now, people are getting closer to the coke or other soda drinks than these traditional ones. However, considering of health issues, the traditional and naturally fermented drink is much better than those chemical compounds mixing drinks.

豆汁是种绿豆发酵后的汤汁。这个小吃在北京很流行，特别是对老北京来说。神奇的地方在于开始时候人们没法忍受它奇怪的味道和风味。但是如果喝上几次就会上瘾了。实际上豆汁对人们消化很有帮助。喝豆汁通常配上几个焦圈，这是正宗而且好吃的喝法。 不过现代人越来越倾向于可乐或是其他苏打饮品了。但是，从健康角度考虑，传统的豆汁是自然发酵，比那些化学试剂混合的饮料要好多了。
