Growing tomatoes in your yard yields lots and lots of tomatoes and salsa (Pico de galo), is the best way in my family to use them. Other food processors do make salsa too; however, they often come out either too course or to fine (like soup). I usually add onions, garlic, clilantro, and Jalapeno first, chop coursely and then add the tomatoes. The tomatoes are appropriately sized and the other stuff is finely minced. Just add lemon juice and salt and you're done.
