      In today’s globalized world,English is becoming more and more essential.It’s of vital importance for us to learn English well.The reasons are as follows.

      First and foremost,as an international language,English is the most widely used language in the world.If we have a good command of English,we can travel around the world easily,learning different culture and customs,which can widen our mind.What’s more,English is the language of the most important universities in the world,such as Oxford,Harvard and so on.If we want to study in one of those universities,we’ll need to pass the English test.Besides,a large number of valuable books,newspapers and magazines are written in English.If we wish to gain more knowledge,we must improve our English.Last but not least,with the rapid development of our country, we need to communicate with foreigners and introduce our Chinese traditional culture to them.

        All in all,English is so important that we should spare no efforts to learn it well.As long as we practice English listening,speaking,reading and writing as much as possible,we will be good at English.
