同性恋现象自古就存在，只是一直处于敏感而边缘的状态。而“同性恋”这一概念是晚近才出现的，并且遮遮掩掩始终不能曝光于大众眼下。随着19世纪对人类个性发展与人类性行为研究的展开，人们才开始了对同性恋现象的研究。同性恋这一独特的社会文化现象，也进而揭开它神秘的面纱，与其相关的文化、艺术产业也创造出不少典型的作品，比如同性恋题材的电影，在中西方都逐渐受到艺术家们的青睐。本文通过中西方同性恋电影的对比和对同性恋电影表现特征、方式以及艺术价值的浅析，来了解同性恋文化在电影艺术里的感官存在以及此类题材电影在艺术作品界的地位。除此之外，也对此题材电影的前景作了简单的观测。

the phenomenon of gay have been existed since ancient time but it is always at the state of sensitive and marginal. the concept of "Gay" was not put forward until recent years and always kept in a disguised manner not able to appear in front of the mass. with the development of human characters and sex reasearch within the 19th century, people began to research the phenomenon of gay. gay, the unique social culture phenomenon, was then uncovered with the secretive veil. and the related culture and art industries also created a lot of typical works. for example, the films reflecting the gay life have attracted more and more concentrations from artists in both chinese and western culture. this essay aims to know the sense existance of gay culture in film arts and the aritcal status of films of such themes according to the contrast of gay films from chinese and western countries and easy analysis of the performance characteristic, performance patterns and performance values. besides, there is also a simple prediction for such kind of films.
