This is the house where I was born in.（house 作动作born的地点状语，指动作born发生的地点）

总结：无论乍看起来像是时间还是地点的先行词，必须要判断先行词和从句中谓语动词的关系。

这题是指try to find这个动作发生的时间，用when 。在＂设法找巧克力蛋＂这个动作发生的时间是在找蛋的活动中。
