Before my trip to Canada, I had to do the following preparations. First, I had to make sure that all my travel documents were with me. To get through the customs, I needed my passport and visa. Then, I need to make sure that my boarding pass and everything I need for the flight was with me. Next, I have to pack my luggage. I needed to bring some clothes and my toiletries, and perhaps even leave some luggage space incase I wanted to do some shopping while I was there. Before my big suitcases were packed, I need to prepare a smaller bag as carry-on luggage. In that, I would put all my important documents and also things I will need such as my cellphone and my wallet. After that, I need to exchange some RMB for Canadian dollars, to make sure I have cash to spend with me. Finally, I need to make sure I have somewhere to stay, and make hotel reservations or contact a friend or acquaintance.
