我做选择时总是分不清that what when which等何时用好
比如 we didnt undersand( )he said meant
a.what b,that c.all what d.what all为何只能选d不能选a?

而不是that 能附加对名词性从句所有易懂的解释最好 最好是个人理解

that 是指物（大都是说出来的话）
例如：he said that he ate an apple yesterday.
他说他昨天吃了一个苹果。

what 指物
例如你的那句：we didnt undersand what all he said meant
(这里的‘物’是指他说出的‘话’）

when 是指时间（通常是‘在···时候’）
例如：he saw a car pass him when he was cleaning his glasses.
他在擦拭眼镜的时候看到了一辆车经过。

which 是指物
例如：there is a box which is on the table.
桌子上有一个盒子。

还有who 和 whom， 这两个是指人
例如：i saw a man who/whom is sitting on the stairs.
我看到一个男人坐在楼梯上。

what 一般用于宾语从句，名词从句的话一般用which 和 that
