1. Absolutely not. The human mind is way too complex than just a physical phenomenon. When intoxicated by chemical, there is no deny that the thought process would be impaired. Nevertheless, under normal condition a human brain continues to process information collected or stored to facilitate decision making on a non-stop basis.

2. No. There are many different approaches people use, from ancient civilization to contemporary society, in seeking the ultimate “truth". The so-called scientific method, in its modern sense, has proven little use in even pointing to the right direction, let alone being the "best" way of establishing anything. Facts may be far different from truth, as many spiritual teaching would show.

3. If this bibilical teaching refers to the Christian Bible, I must say my first reaction after reading the Old Testament was far from being impressed. It stayed that way to this day.

1. 回答 Yes. Actually that's depend on what you trust, materialism or idealism. I am materialism, so I think all human mind is determined by external reality.
2. 回答 Yes. I believe that the truth is establshed by scientific reality and scientific method.
3. 回答 Existence in possible. I think bibical teaching has their sense. After so long time, bibical teaching have advanced with the times. It can held up base on their own principle.

1, I NONT THINK THAT HUMAN MIND IS JUST A PHYSICAL DEVICE RUN BY CHEMICAL REACTIONS.AND I DO NOT BELIEVE IT. THE POINT OF THIS QUESTION IS JUST BASED ON THE WESTERN SCIENCE. AND SCIENCE IS JUST ONE WAY TO LEARN THIS WORLD AND TO GET MORE CLOSE TO THE TRUTH, WHICH BY THE WAY, IS NOT THE BEST WAY,AS FAR AS I AM CONCERN. ACTUALLY , THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO KNOW THE UNIVERSE, SUCH AS THE RELIGIOUS WAY WHICH IS ALMOST THE OPPOSITE WAY TO THE SCIENCE. BRAIN IS NOT JUST A DEVICE. IT MUST MEANS SOMTHING MORE. WHEN YOU GET TO KNOW MORE ABOUT YOGA, MEDITATION AND MONACHISM WHICH HELD BY DAOISTS IN ANCIENT CHINA. YOU WOULD UNDERSTAND THAT THOSE ANCESTORS DID NOT TELL US LIES ABOUT SOUL. SOUL LIVES IN OUR BODY. AND IT IS THE "CPU" OF OUR BODY. THAT WOULD BE IT .I AM AFRAID MORE INFORMATION WOULD MAKE YOU PUZZLED.

3, IT WAS SOME RELIGIOUS TEACHINGS FROM THE ANCESTORS. IT SHOWS THE WORLD TO US FROM ANOTHER POINT OF VIEW. THE POINT IS THAT LOTS OF GUYS DONT BELIEVE IT.IT HELPS ME TO IMPROVE MY SOUL AND GUIDES MY WORLDVIEW.ANYHOW,RELIGION AND SCIENCE ARE LIKE "BROTHERS". OR WE CAN PUT IT THIS WAY, THEY ARE JUST THE OPPOSITE OF THE TRUTH IF WE TAKE THE TRUTH AS A HUMAN BODY.

1.The human mind is the system which conducts our all action,and it is a neural network.So It can not defined simply by physical device run or by chemical reactions.
2. This is impossible."truth" cannot use the program or words or other truthfully expression of abstract things.It needs communication each other and long-term training.
3. The bible is a kind of belief.We can go to respect it, not necessarily need it.
