Dear Sir/Madame,
I’m glad to know that Thayer Academy is hosting the Chinese Culture Week during this summer vacation. And I’d like to work as a volunteer to help people know more about China.
Now I’m a high school student and will graduate this June. I’m good at speaking English and I once won the first prize in our school English contest. Also, I have a good knowledge of the Chinese culture and I’m willing to help others.
I think I’m fit for the job. As a volunteer, I am able to make American people understand China better, making them interested in learning the Chinese culture such as Chinese arts, history, diets and so on. On the other hand, I’ll get a chance to improve my English. I would appreciate it if I could be accepted to help in the activity.
