Friendship
A: You spent a long time on the mobile last night, parents in the phone?

A：Ok. Chinese weddings always use the traditional red as the tone corlor, and the weddings are always held in bridegrooms’ houses. But western weddings always use white as the predominant courlor, which is considered unfortunate in traditional Chinese culture. They hold the weddings at the church with a priest hosting. Nowadays with the cultural bumping, we can also see western wedding in China, as well as in Western countries. But, how can we deal with the differences in culture/customs？
B：Before we communicate with foreigners, we should know their customs and culture. We can search for information through the Internet or in books. The most important thing is, We should respect their customs and culture so that we can avoid embarrassing moments.
A：Yes, that’s right. But sometimes we even don’t know their customs and culture when we come across some foreigners, in this situation, how to deal with the embarrassing thing?
B：If we did make a mistake, I think we should apologize to him/her firstly. Then make him/her know our customs and culture, and ask about his/hers.
A：Good idea. Maybe we should gain some knowledge about that.
B：Yes, it will enrich our knowledge at the same time.
Disasters

A: We are living in a changeble world, for there are quite a number of disasters, such as hurricanes,tornadoes,earthquakes,tsunamis and so on.
B: Yeah, but we can't lose courage towards life. In face of the sudden disaster, the only thing we can do is to try our best to help the people in ruins to build their homes, further more, confidence. For instance, the Wenchuan earthquake, do you still remember?
A: Definitely.It was a thorough disaster. A myriad of people became homeless:many parents lost children, and many people became disabled, and even lost their lives. However, survivors still need to be strong, reconstruct their homes on the destroyed buildings and houses.
B:I think so. In the process of rebuilding their homes, the whole society generated into actions,from corner to corner, masses of people sprang up, donating food, medicine, clothing etc. And there even appeared volunteers offering psychological counselling,too. Our school also collected money and daily necessities for the people in the disaster areas at that time, hoping to do something for them. You?
A: We too, I didn't remember how much money I donated. Although erery single hand is weak, but every drops together, coud grow into an ocean. There are people caring for us, we should live for them. Whenever there is love, there are buds of hope, there will be a flowering day awaiting us, and that is the reason why we still live.
B: Yes, the disaster is not terrible, as long as we are together, we are certain to win. We shoud believe that the world is full of love, for we are family.
