习惯平等

有生以来第一次请家庭保姆，她手脚不停地忙着，我手足无措地闲着，觉得很不习惯。一位一直用着保姆的朋友开导说：一开始我也如此，慢慢就习惯了。
便想起，有位一夜之间走红的“星”说：最初接受那么多的鲜花，那么多的喝彩，那么多的注视，那么多的崇拜，觉得很不习惯，现在习惯了。
还想起，有位沦为乞丐的大学生说：一开始对人家鄙夷的不屑的目光很不习惯，后来也就习惯了。
我想天啊，这样的习惯，还是让它永远不习惯着吧。人和人的关系，一开始都是平等的，所以对于崇拜、专断、尊贵、卑贱等不平等的关系，一开始会感觉不习惯，问题出在慢慢地、不知不觉地习惯了。因为一旦习惯了不平等，他对平等就再也不习惯了。(原载《每日新报》2002年7月24日，作者莫小米)

"Oh, dear," I thought, "Never get used to such habbit." people were born equal, it was in our nature, that was the reason why we felt uncomfortable when we were in an unequal relationship, such as the worship, autarchy, honour and lowniness. When we got used to it, the problem showed up. Once a man got used to the unequality, he can not get used to the equality any longer.
