我没有在2011上半学期修满学分因为我的母亲在8月份生病了,我一开始打算返回到中国去看望她照顾她,我很担心她,没有心思学习了,但是我母亲坚决不同意我放弃学业,后来为了节省钱给她治病就没有回去,只修了一门课是因为我只差一门课就可以毕业了,于是为了省钱跟学校申请了只修一门课,但是由于天天太担心她,也没有学好,后来我母亲的病好了,我在2011下学期便回到了学校.

I failed to get the full credits at the first half semester in 2011 for some individual issues. My mum got sick in August that year. I'm very worried about her health so i intended originally to go back home. But she insisted that i should focus on my study and stay here. Later i gave up the idea and saved money for her treatment. But i'm a bit distracted and failed to pass the examination.
