本次课题研究总体可以分为三个阶段，通过调研、对比、理论分析以及实践检验对综合办公类建筑设计进行了几个方面的研究与探讨。
第一阶段：清晰定位与深入分析。首先根据任务书提出的要求，深入分析并将此次方案定位为综合办公类建筑。通过对综合办公类建筑的定义、发展背景与趋势、此类建筑的特点以及对此类建筑的设计要点进行深入了解和分析。为后面几个阶段的顺利进行打下坚实的基础。
第二阶段：前期设计调研与规划。充分对基地以及周围环境进行调研，并分析设计中可能出现的问题和应对措施。使后面的设计在符合任务书规定的前提下，更加满足办公、生活、娱乐等多功能的要求。在满足城市规划的前提下，对项目设计进行合理的定位以及规划，使建筑设计沿着预定方向进行。
第三阶段：方案设计与整合。在前面几个阶段的基础上进行方案的深入设计，并对方案进行整合，完成任务书中的各种成果要求，总结此类建筑设计的要点与心得。
