These years, the campuses of various prestigious schools have become main tourist attractions, many people come from afar just to take a tour. This has also become a hot new debate topic, teachers, parents and students have all taken sides on whether schools should or shouldn't be open to the public. I feel that the schools shouldn't allow tourists to enter.

Firstly, tourists roaming around can distract students from their studies. The better the school is, the harder the work will be. The classes often requires high concentration from students, and full understanding of the knowledge in order to complete the homework excellently. Having tourists around the campus will distract students, and otherwise lower their grades.
Secondly, we can't promise the tourists won't harm the campus. The campuses of those schools are often filled with all kinds of plants to create a healthy learning and living environment for the students, but nobody can be sure the tourists won't tread on the grass and pick the flowers or even write graffiti on the walls.
In conclusion, tourists will distract students and maybe harm the campus are the reasons to why schools shouldn't be open to the public.
