　　Different people have different hobbies. Some like singing, some like playing and others like collecting. I like collecting things, too. But I don’t like collecting stamps or coins. And instead, I like collecting cartoon books drawn by Japanese. I like them because the pictures in the books are all very beautiful, and many stories are exciting and nice. Many parents and teachers don’t think that the cartoon books are very good for students, but I don’t agree with them. I know some of them are not good, but just some. Beauty always needs to be discovered. The books include many kinds of life and spirit, and also many things we have never heard about before. Besides that, I also like collecting beautiful pictures, VCDs, photos, etc. When I see some good things, I’ll save money for them. When it’s enough, I’ll buy them and bring them home. I always put them on a shelf and keep them clean and tidy.

　　My hobby is playing basketball. I started to play basketball when I was 12 years old. After school, I would stay on the playground and play basketball with some friends of mine until it was dark . Since then I have taken it as my hobby because it is good to my health and I enjoy it very much. Now I work in a big foreign company. I am busy at work during the week so I don’t often play it, when there are some holidays for me to have a rest . I will find some old friends to go to the gym together to play basketball for 3 to 4 hours there . I will feel very happy and relaxed . This exercise is quite beneficial to me, because I am very, very strong now. Except so ,another sport thing i have. For , jump rope. With it i could make more practice so keep body health.

　　Nowadays, people are interested in collecting something they like. So do I. In my opinion, it’s interesting for me to collect stamps.

　　On my 6th birthday, my parents give me some stamps as the birthday gift. At that time, I was attracted by the beautiful picture on it and decided to start collecting stamps. I have been collecting stamps since 8 years ago. Now, collecting stamps become a part of my life. I usually appreciate them when I was free. And I am the first person at school to have 1000 stamps. On the other hand, I want to start a stamp collectors’ club so that all of the collectors who have the same hobby as me can share the valuable stamps together.

　　In a word, I benefit a lot from collecting stamps. It not only makes my free time colorful but also enables me to know more different culture.
