一只刺猬杀死了一只老鼠。老虎把刺猬送进动物监狱。他和豹子及狼都想杀了他。但刺猬的身体有刺，不能轻易被杀死，所以老虎决定不给他东西吃。
刺猬非常饿了，所以，他想法子让狼给他见老虎。老虎问：「你为什么要见我？」刺猬不慌不忙地说：「大王，我想送你一颗珍珠。珍珠有法力。如果放在桌子上，它会变出很多肉。」虎口开始流口水，他一听之下，便问：「如果珍珠有法力，你为什么不用它呢？」
刺猬说：「亲爱的大王，珍珠只能被从未伤害过人的好人使用。我杀了老鼠，所以我不能使用它。」老虎想拿起珍珠，但他突然想起他曾杀过很多小动物，让他把手移开。
刺猬说。 「既然大王不能使用它。那豹子和狼呢？」但是他们两个立刻后退，因为他们都杀过许多动物。
然后，刺猬笑着说：「你们全都曾杀死过小动物，但你们都没被收监。我只杀死一只有害的小老鼠，为什么我要被收监？这不公平！」老虎、豹和狼
都无言以对，就让刺猬离开。

There is a hedgehog that killed a mouse. The tiger sent the hedgehog into animal prison. He and the leopard and the wolf wanted to kill him. But the hedgehog had stabs on his body and couldn't be killed easily, so the tiger decided not to give him anything to eat.
The hedgehog was very hungry, so he found out a good way to make the wolf let him see the tiger. The tiger asked, “Why do you ask to see me?” The hedgehog said in no hurry,“King, I shall offer a pearl. The pearl has magic. If it is put on the table, it will make a lot of meat.” The tiger's mouth started watering when he heard this, but he asked,“If the pearl-has magic, why don't you use it?”
The hedgehog said, “Dear king, the pearl can only be used by a good man who doesn't hurt anybody. I killed the mouse, so I can't use it. ” The tiger wanted to pick up the pearl, but suddenly he reminded he had killed a lot of small animals, so he moved his hand back.
The hedgehog said. “Since the king can't get it. How about the leopard and the wolf?" But the two of them moved back straight because they both killed many lives.
Then the hedgehog laughed and said, “All of you killed small animals, but none of you was put into jail. And I just killed a harmful little mouse, why should I be put into jail? It's unfair!” The king tiger, leopard and the wolf
had no words to answer but let the hedgehog leave.
