It is important that alternative diplomatic approaches are also considered by the international
community. Any options will need to enhance the prospects of keeping Iran focused
purely on civil nuclear ambitions and would need questions surrounding possible
military work to be resolved satisfactorily.
In order to make diplomatic conduct more effective, several questions key to the conference
are worth considering:
• What practical steps can be taken to increase the costs to Iran of not engaging seriously?
• Can existing sanctions be tightened sufficiently to force Iran to serious negotiations?
• Are new sanctions required?
• Is international unity sufficiently strong for the Security Council to take still tougher
action?
• Can the P5+1 retain support from Arab states, given recent developments in the Middle
East?

其它的可行性外交方案是否应该由国际社会给予考虑-用于解决伊朗目前面对的问题。所有的可供选择的方案必须保证伊朗可以纯粹和平利用核能，而且还需要周边的及可能发生的军事问题得以圆满解决。
为了使所选择的外交方案达到预期的效果，以下几方面的问题必然要在考虑范围之内：
. 什么样的确实可行的方案能使伊朗增加成本但同时又能使其不要急于实施？
.现已实施的严厉制裁能促使伊朗迫切考虑以谈判方式解决目前问题吗/
.新的一轮制裁有必要再实施吗？

六方会谈指的是以联合国安理会常任理事为代表的“常五”即P5；“P5+1”中的“1”指的是联合国安理会常任理事国有一个轮流由联合国成员国担任的习惯，而阿拉伯国家联盟简称“阿盟”则指全世界主要的阿拉伯民族国家所组成的联盟主要负责处理——穆斯林国家内部之间的事物，而伊朗是伊斯兰国家，而且是阿拉伯世界国家力量的主要代表，因此这里必然有由“阿盟”出面与联合国等共同处理伊朗的核问题。个人意见，仅供参考！
