Hello.This is Li Hua.I am glad to hear that you are coming to my hometown，Guanzhou，and will visit one of the interesting places,the Lotus Hill（莲花山）It is located in Panyu,south of Guangzhou.It is not far.You can take either a No.XXX bus or underground to get there.It is very beautiful with fresh air,green trees and colorful flowers.It is really a good place to relax.The food is delicious too.You can enjoy the famous Guangdong dishes there.After you travel around the Lotus Hill,you can go to KARAOKE or Disco.It is enjoyable too.

Welcome to my hometown! Shanghai is my hometown. It is a modern and busy town. It has a long history，and it lies in east China .It has very convenient traffic.It has fast rail traffic.
There are many big supermarkets, beautiful gardens and good factories here. It is very easy to go shopping.So it has a beautiful name:sleepless city. There are many attractive spots here, such as：Town God's Temple, Yu Yuan Garden and so on.You can see big trees and nice flowers. There are many restaurants in Shanghai. The food tastes very delicious.You can enjoy eyery minutes of it. Many visitors come here to enjoy it.

Shanghai is located at the south coast of entrance of Yangtzi River, Area of East China.
As one of the Province-level Municipalities of China,Shanghai has an extensive public transport system, largely based on metros, buses and taxis. As of 2010, there are twelve metro lines (including the Shanghai Maglev Train), 273 stations and over 420 km of tracks in operation, making it the longest network in the world.
For Tom, a fresh foreigner, I recommend him to have a Shanghai Huangpu River Night Cruise.The Huangpu River is the mother river of Shanghai. Nanpu Bridge, Yangpu Bridge and Oriental Pearl TV Tower compose of a huge picture scroll. The Bund is the cultural section of Shanghai that best represents the blending of ancient and modern influences. This renowned waterfront district is the city's most famous landmark.
There are many different types of restaurants in Shanghai, depending on the flavour of Tom. Shanghai Cuisine, such as 'Old Shanghai Moon', 'Xi's Garden' and so forth. Other Cuisine like Sichuan and Cantonese Cuisine are also some of the charactristic cuisines in China. If there is no financial budget, i suggest Tom to choose 'Grand Hyatt Shanghai' for the reason that he can enjoy the full landscape of Pudong District and Huangpu River.
There are some places for night shows like ERA Shanghai and Shanghai Grand Theater, the shows are performed daily and full of cultural charactristics.
