Last summer, I went to Beidaihe for my holiday with my family. We took a train because the way is not far. We lived in a big hotel where could see the sea . We stayed there for three days. The first day, we went for a walk along the seaside, and then we went swimming and took a lot of interesting photos there. The second day, we went to a famous market and bought many keepsakes. I was going to bring these keepsakes for my friends. The last day, we had a good picnic on the seaside with the natives. They acted all kinds of programmes and made us feel happy. It’s a very good journey, and we all enjoyed ourselves on those days. If I have another holiday, I will go there again. An Unforgettable Experience I like traveling very much. My trip to XiAn is really unforgettable. Before I went there, I always wanted to see Bin Ma Yong, so I chose to go there. I went to there by train with my parents and I had breakfast in the hotel. Then we went there by bus. When I got off the bus, I was very excited. I saw a lot of false man whose hand with all kinds of things. I took many pictures. Finally we went back the hotel in the afternoon. Though I was very tired, I felt very happy. I dwill never forget it for ever.

An Unforgettable Experience in My College
Life here in XMUT is like the raining summer days, no matter how heavy the rain was after that I could see the rainbow appeared in the sky. Very often when meeting with difficulties, failures or even frustrations I suffered from something kind of perplexed or bemused; however; luckily like I am, with my efforts, things would be delight. Considering what I’ve experienced during nearly one year in my college, all of that are making up a piece of beautiful song which echo in my mind. And now I’d like to pike out part of the melody from the song and share with you.
Last weekend I took part in the Model United Nations (MUN) in Xiamen University. Our topic was sustainable tourism-responding to global warming. I consider that was a kind of unforgettable journey. I’ve heard of MUN for a long tome and I was looking forward to joining it. Hence, when I was asked whether I was willing to have a try, without thinking twice I said yes!
Getting prepare was a delight process, indeed, which was a terrific way to know what I didn’t know before. At first, I was chosen to be the delegate of Singapore. But since I didn’t understand the rules of MUN comprehensively, I was felling quite confused about the director to get familiar about Singapore’s policies on the topic. Sometimes I would feel annoyed when I got nothing useful from the internet. Nevertheless, sorting out the material with my partner was enjoyable.
In order to make sure other countries could understand your position well, we needed to hand in the Position Paper (PP) in which we expressed our thoughts. But largely due to my limitation of the understanding of Singapore, it was difficult and took me plenty of time. Can you imagine how exciting when I finished my PP? What, in some way, made me feel proud and I was cheerful to start to get familiar about all I think useful. Unfortunately, owning to Singapore is not a member of UNWTO, 30minits later, I was told to change the nation into Canada; in other words; I made all my efforts in vein. Nonetheless, I had to calm down and start again. As a matter of fact, Canada was really huge that I got too much information and I had to make a choice among them. I acknowledge that made me felt horrible because the time is really limited. Thought I stayed up several nights, things were going unsatisfactorily, as a result, I didn’t prepare enough and which leaded my not-so-happy experience during the activity.
Soon we were there and became the delegates of different countries. In order to achieve the consensus, we exchange our views and allied with others. The atmosphere there was heated. I appreciated to made friends with them, and I did learnt a lot from exchanging the ideas with them. “Motion” or “point” is still echoing in my mind. What most deeply impressed me is the social event we had at first night. We had a party in the café and some attractive performances. To we delegates that a prefect chance to ally with others. Groups of people gathered together to canvass for agreements. Then it took us plenty of time to work out the draft resolution that many of us worked till two or three o’clock at night. But we all consider that was really precise experience.
In a word, MUN is really a perfect platform to improve our English and a stage to show ourselves. But I have to admit that due to my poor preparation and some misunderstanding of the rules, I was a little bit quiet during the session, which made me regret and feel pity about that. And a lesson from which is that better preparation will make a big difference indeed.(本文来自网络)
