陈述句的强调句型：It is/ was + 被强调部分（主语、宾语或状语）+ that/ who+ 其他部分。
例： It was yesterday that he met Li Ping.
一般疑问句的强调句型：同上，只是把is/ was提到it前面。
例： Was it yesterday that he met Li Ping？
特殊疑问句的强调句型：被强调部分（通常是疑问代词或疑问副词）+ is/ was + it + that/ who + 其他部分？
例：.When was it that you were born？

强调句型的构成是：It is/was 被强调成分 that 句子的其余部分。但是和其它句型一样，这个句型常常会有一些变形，变成一般疑问句时就变成了：
Is / Was it 被强调成分 that 句子的其余部分。
如果对被强调部分进行划线提问变成特殊问句时，就变成了：
疑问词 is / was it that 原句的其余部分 ？如：
It was his hard work that contributed to his great achievement. ----What was it that contributed to his great achievement?
