well, main obstacle may be the distinctive lifestyle of the couple. As in short times, they will try to adapt themselves to their lover's life, however, international marriage is all life event. It may take long long time for two of them to build up a common life which can be suitable for both of them.
Morever, decision of where they are gonna live and work will also get in the way of their marriage road. It is really tough for either of one choose to say goodbye to their parrents and friends but follow the man to a totally unfamiliar place.
