Recently, more and more people refuse to help beggars on the street. Some people may blame that people today are less generous than before. However, in my opinion, there is another explanation for this social phenomenon, which is the improvement of self-awareness of the general public. Many beggars on the street were from different kinds of fraud gangs, which had been exposed by the media. After the general public get to know who the beggars realy are, of course they will not be deceived any more. It is also undeniable that there are some of the beggars who need help indeed, hence people have to make their own judgement. Furthermore, there are other ways better and safer to show the kindness. People can donate to the charity organizations, so as to contribute to the society.
