How are you? It has been a long time since you came over to China last time.

Since your last visit, I have been study English very hard. Both my writing and reading skills are improved. It’s all shown on my end-semester result. Also, I did very well on mathematics and Chinese.

I received your letter a few weeks before and it said I was invited to stay with one of your student’s family in America as an exchange student. I am so excited and looking forward to it. Just let you know I am focusing on my speaking English study recently. Hope it’s not too late.

There’s only one thing bothers me. Because I have never been to America before, I don’t know much about American culture. Would you kindly tell me the important things about be part of an American family, please? Looking forward for your reply.
