How to become a great person？

This is a question that many people can ask but only few can answer and even less can achieve. Doing the right things, acheiving a great deal and be successful are only just personal achievements for your own good, which have nothing to do with being great. To become a great person are much more than that! The first thing to distinguish between a great person and a normal successful person is, a great person thinks and acts not for his own good or for a few but for many. He must be selfless always gives everything even his own life for the general good without hestitation. And most importantly, this person's contribution to the society is accepted by the general public and be seen as kind of a hero in people's eyes. He will be respected and admire at by generation after generation, such as Confucius or Mr Sun Yat-Sen or Shakspeare or even Bill Gates. These people have a great deal of infuence on many people, so they can be branded as great persons.
So, sometimes no matter how successful a person is. He may never become a great person, but instead, he may be remembered as an outstanding person because he might have accummulated a great wealth and became very popular but didn't do much good to the majority of the population any good or sacrificed much for the people at all. People admire at him/her just for his populairty, which has nothing to do with being great! Famous and great are two completely different things! And most of the time, in order to bring out one's greatness making him/ her a great person require special situations, just like our Chinese saying: "TIME AND SITUATION CREATE HEROS(时势造英雄)"

How to become a great person?
Great person is a man who most of us appreciate and admire. But how to become a great person is a question that I guess few of us can give a definite answer.
As for me, we should meet the following points :
First of all, you should be full of ambition, namely, you have strong confidence that you can achieve whatever goal you want if you take actions;
What's more, you must be consistent when doing anything, and don't easily give up when encountering any difficulty, you out to find out as many solutions as possible to conquer it;
In addition, you should be kind-heatted, and be ready to make contribution to the society and our motherland;
Finally, you should pay attention to all the details and little mistakes, and try your best to make them up;
So, from what I have suggested above, you may become a great person in the not too distance future!
