Dear HUANG JIAWEI,
Following concerns raised by the organisation which received your TRF we instituted an investigation into the test you registered for on 14/04/2012 at Nanchang. As a result of that investigation we have reason to believe that you have forged / altered an IELTS Test Result Form.
The IELTS Candidate Rules which you accepted during on-line registration states:
If the IELTS test partners [the British Council (operating in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy/Consulates-General), IDP: IELTS Australia and Cambridge ESOL] discover that a false or altered Test Report Form has been provided to academic institutions, government departments, embassies and consulates-generals, and other professional organizations in and outside China, the candidate who attempted to forge or alter the Test Report Form will be prohibited from taking the IELTS test in the future and will not be eligible for transfer, cancellation, or refund of any kind. Such candidates’ test results will be cancelled, and the Test Report Form be voided. The British Council (operating in China as the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy/Consulates-General) reserves the right to inform government organisations, Public Security Bureaus, recognizing organizations, relevant embassies and other test partners and test centres of such cases. This may result in legal action.
At this time we are choosing not to prosecute but we have decided to take the following actions
1) A report has been made to the IELTS Test Partners
2) The result has been cancelled. This means the scores have been altered to zero in each of the band scores and overall band score and these are the scores that will be viewed on the on-line verification site for Stakeholder/ Receiving Organisation
3) Your name has now been added to the list of candidates who are prohibited from further attempts to take the IELTS test in China
4) We reserve the right to inform relevant authorities and any other organisation that may need to know of this.
Should you wish to contact the IELTS Centre to discuss this action our contact details are as follows. All correspondence must be received within 21 days of the date of this letter. Please schedule an appointment with us if you want to come to our office to discuss this matter. Unsolicited visits will not be received.
