Being a teenager, I am expected to abide by a lot of rules at school and at home. Some of them are reasonable, but others I really doubt whether they should exist at all.
I like the rule that we should respect our parents and teachers. Because I think they have obtained more knowledge than younger people.
But I do hate the rule that students should wear school uniforms. On the one hand, we are deprived of the rights of being unique in appearance; on the other hand, the school uniforms are usually ugly and not comfortable. I am fine with a dressing code, though.
So in summary, I believe it is better that youngsters could be allowed to express their own thoughts on the rules. This two-way interaction can help both parties understand each other better.
